Hiya!!
After 2 broken planes, and a 12 hour delay I finally made it to Dehli on Wednesday night, approx midnight. It is beautiful here, but a little crazy!!
Thursday and Friday I have been sight seeing in Dehli. Have taked loads of photos. Have seen lots of old temples, mosques etc Lal Quila - The Red Fort, Tombs and been to some very special places.
Found going to Gandhi's garden where he was shot was very stirring, there is a flame burning there which never goes out, and his burial/cremation slab. many people go there every day to pay their respects, and beautiful music is played around the garden.
It is really warm here, about 35+ degrees C in day and about 28 at night - it's a dry heat so I am very happy!
Food is fab, people are really friendly and hospitable, and have learned my lessons after being ripped off about 5 times in my first 24 hours here!

Hey you! I'm so glad you got there safely in the end! Can you believe its almost one week! I hope you're lappin it up! Stay sharp with regard to the locals! Its all part of the experience being ripped off! Try to give a wee bit to charity too... the cultural difference really hits you! Apart from that advice, stay safe and happy! Miss you! Noreen
